Community of the Whole Person EFT
Healing with Emotional Freedom Techniques
Greetings, and thank you for visiting our Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) site.

Also known as "tapping", EFT is a simple, yet highly effective and powerful way to release emotions, manage pain, and address a variety of issues related to wellbeing. Tapping is a blend of a simplified form of the traditional Chinese system of acupuncture/acupressure and selected aspects of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).

If it sounds complicated, it isn't. (And there are no needles!) In this form of energy psychology you will talk about the issue while tapping gently on various meridian points on the body to release energy blocks from your body's energy system.  You can do this yourself, but most people find it more effective to work with a practitioner, at least until you are familiar with the technique.

People have used tapping successfully on just about every issue imaginable, with great success consistently reported for a variety of issues such as weight problems, craving, back pain, headaches, childhood trauma, accidents, injuries, emotional issues, stress, smoking, and many, many more. What's more is that tapping is known for being a rapid technique. Many issues are resolved or greatly alleviated in just a few sessions. In addition, couples and families can tap together on group issues, and you can even tap as a surrogate for your animal companions or other situations.  If you are new to EFT, you may find the following resources helpful.
